I am retired finally after twenty seven years as a free lance photographer in New York and ten years on staff at Christie’s. I freelanced at Christies starting in 1999 and accepted a staff position in 2008. Before that I shot for magazines, including The New York Times Entertainment Magazine and Newsweek, books for Crown and Ten Speed Press and catalogs for retail and business to business.
I started this site to show some of my work from the past and to show what I am doing now. I post to Instagram as kbroch_77 and you can see my latest posts below. Below, as well, are links to galleries of my professional work over the years and photographs of my travels now and in the past.
During the pandemic Central Park was my refuge and from that time I have created a series of seasonal greeting cards, four each of the four seasons which I will try to announce soon for purchase with profits going to the Central Park Conservancy. In the meantime you can see the images by following the links below, “Central Park Cards.”
